New! Acro/contact yoga: where circus meets yoga
Mini-Session Januaryof 4 progressive by-weekly workshops Jan 15, 29 & Feb 12, 26, 2012, 10am-12pm
Teens are welcome with an adult.
An introduction to partner postures, counterbalancing, and lifts!
Join Jenny Anderson and Sophie Latreille of a fun-filled class of partner yoga.
We’ll guide participants to move confidently into progressive postures, with safe spotting techniques.
You’re welcome without a partner; you’ll match up with another or with an instructor.
Some previous yoga or acrobatic practice is encouraged as a prerequisite.
Winter mini-session starts January 15th, 2012: Glebe Community Center, 175 Third Avenue, Ottawa. $120 for 4 x 2 hour classes

Kids Circus Classes

Kids and teens, attention future circus artists!
Three different types of Circus training programs will be offered for kids age 8 and up in Ottawa and Gatineau over the next year:
- Weekly circus classes open to all youths
- Circus day camps open to all youths.
- Specialized intermediate/advanced circus training and performance training thorugh the weekly circus classes with possibilities for invitation to perform in local festivals and events.

Ladies: Have fun, get a good workout, and feel sexy!
Anyone is welcome. Come join us to learn basic skills and choreography with the hoop or take it to a new level at our intermediate class. You have so much fun you don’t even realise that your exercising.

Poi
Adult Open Poi Classes: Learn the fundamentals, improve your technique and artistry, and have fun discovering a new form of movement with poi. Poi are "Balls on the end of strings", or for the advanced, fire on the end of strings, this contemporary form of a traditional Polynesian art is just plain fun do to.

Travelling Circus School for events and for parties
The troubadours of Mini-Cirque bring to life any place with creative costumes, lively performances and dynamic animations with interactive workshops. Through the circus, children as well as adults discover and reveal their talents.
